RelationCanvas is a free chart maker in the browser, with no account and no watermark on PNG or SVG export. If you need that, it fits. If you need cloud sync, AI generation, or a campaign wiki, use a tool below that offers it. This is not a ranking. Checked October 19, 2026.

RelationCanvas limits
These three facts are about RelationCanvas only. They were checked in the editor on 2026-10-19. The other rows do not include them, because those pages were not checked for the same limits.
| Limit | What the editor does |
|---|---|
| Character limit | No fixed limit. Adding a character is not refused. relationcanvas.com checked 2026-10-19. |
| Mobile editing | Yes. Narrow screens use the mobile editor layout to add a character, edit a relationship, and export. relationcanvas.com checked 2026-10-19. |
| Share link | Yes. A read-only link opens the chart at /view. The chart stays in the URL, and pictures are left out. If the full URL would be longer than 2,000 characters, the editor does not offer a link. relationcanvas.com/view checked 2026-10-19. |
If RelationCanvas fits, start from a ready-made character relationship chart template or an OC relationship chart template.
When RelationCanvas is not the right pick
RelationCanvas is the wrong tool for three jobs. The notes below describe this product. They are not a score for the other tools.
- No account and no cloud sync. The chart stays in this browser. To move it to another device, download the project file and import that file there.
- No AI generation. The editor does not create characters or relationship labels for you.
- No campaign wiki. RelationCanvas keeps a chart. It does not keep session notes, articles, or a shared world.
If you need one of those, use a tool whose checked page offers it.
