Ships template and the same short

The still chart below is the Ships love-triangle template. The short above is that same chart as a finished sample. Open the example chart and rename the corners.

What the short looks like

Output is 720 by 1280, mute, about 12 seconds for a three-person Ships chart, up to about 20 seconds for larger casts that still fit.

The sample is a local mute file of that template. Playing it does not upload a chart.

A chart needs at least two people and one relationship. Final-frame names must stay readable on a phone. A dense chart can still film a smaller cast. Choose characters to set the focus. PNG and SVG still work.

Encoding an MP4 needs a desktop Chromium browser with H.264 WebCodecs. This page plays the sample.

Video questions

What does the video look like?
A mute vertical MP4, 720 by 1280. A three-person chart runs about 12 seconds, and larger casts that still fit run up to about 20 seconds. It starts from the character you choose.
Which browsers can make the MP4?
Chrome, Edge, or another Chromium browser on a computer with H.264 video encoding. The Video tab checks this browser before you pay. Other browsers can still play the sample and export PNG or SVG.
Which charts can become a video?
A chart needs at least two people and one relationship. Names on the last frame must stay readable on a phone, so for a dense chart, choose fewer characters to film. PNG and SVG export still work for any chart.
Can I post the video on TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts?
Yes. The file is a standard vertical MP4 with no watermark, and you keep ownership of your characters and story content under the Terms of Service. The video is mute, so add music or a voiceover in the app you post with.
How much does it cost?
PNG and SVG export are free. MP4 downloads are a one-time US$8 unlock, tax included, in this browser. There is no subscription and no account.
What if I switch browsers or devices?
The unlock is saved in this browser. Keep the Order ID and receipt email from your payment. Restore purchase in the Video tab unlocks downloads again in any browser.
Can I get a refund?
Unlocks are generally non-refundable once MP4 downloads are enabled, except where the law requires otherwise. If you paid and the unlock did not apply because of a fault on our side, email support@relationcanvas.com within 14 days with your Order ID and receipt email.
Is my chart uploaded?
No. The preview and the MP4 are made in this browser. Names, images, and relationships are not sent to a server. Card details go to our payment provider, Waffo.
